Community Benefits
Dama Solar will create jobs, economic value and a range of other benefits for the people of Arad County.
Jobs & Skills
Dama Solar will create over 1,000 jobs during the construction phase, including apprenticeships to provide hands-on experience to local people. We are also committed to using the project to give local people transferable skills that will help them find fulfilling jobs for years to come. We are particularly prioritising people coming from the fossil fuel industry, as well as women and young people.
Through our Rezolv Academy workforce development programme, more than 400 local people will, by the end of 2026, be offered a place in an introductory Solar Photovoltaic Installer course, accredited by Romania’s Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity. This provides 180 hours of practical and theoretical training using a hybrid model – combining on-site learning with online training.
Dama Solar will also include an on-site Education & Innovation Centre to inspire and equip the next generation with clean energy know-how. Longer-term, Dama Solar is expected to be operational for at least 25 years. Throughout that time, the park will offer operations roles and support for local entrepreneurs.

Community Fund
Rezolv is committed to creating long-term value for the communities that live and work near the Dama Solar site. We will are working with local stakeholders to understand their priorities, hopes and concerns – based on which we canto create opportunities and improve living standards for local people.
To support communities in Arad, we have put in place a dedicated Dama Solar Community Fund which will be spent on improvements in the local area. Decisions on how this money will be spent will be taken by the local communities themselves.
This is part of a long-term investment programme which goes well beyond creating jobs locally. It will be designed hand-in-hand with the local communities to ensure that Dama Solar leaves a positive legacy in Arad for generations to come.
Community Engagement Committee
To help ensure a collaborative working relationship with local communities and other stakeholders, Rezolv will establish a Community Engagement Committee (CEC) for each of its projects – including Dama Solar. The Dama Solar CEC will be a forum for local communities in Arad County to have their say about every aspect of the project. It will also be an important channel for Rezolv and our partners to provide regular updates on the status of the project and consult proactively on all relevant issues.
Participation in the Dama Solar CEC is voluntary and unpaid. Members will be expected to attend around [x] meetings per year. Any member of the local community in Arad who has an interest in the project and would like to join the CEC can nominate themselves via our feedback form.

Stakeholder Engagement Plan
Rezolv has developed a Dama Solar Stakeholder Engagement Plan which is designed to complement the Community Engagement Committee (CEC). The Plan will ensure that the views of all relevant national and local stakeholders are taken into account as the project develops and moves into the operational phase. It will remain active for the lifetime of the project to make sure that stakeholder views are being heard on an ongoing basis.
